Khartoum 1968: The "Three No's"

Following the Six Day War, the leaders of eight Arab countries met in Khartoum to discuss future relations with Israel. The decision was that war had to continue, even though Israel had extended peace overtures. The Khartoum Resolution of 1 September 1967 incorporated what became known as “the three No’s” of Arab-Israel relations at that time: No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel.
