Racism? The Palestinian "Law of Return"
Palestinians wish to implement repatriation measures on behalf of Arabs displaced during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Unlike Israel’s Law of Return, these would operate entirely along racial lines. Anyone born to a Palestinian Arab father after 1947 is to be considered a Palestinian, with the right to citizenship in any part of pre-partition Palestine (Palestinian National Covenant, Article 4). This would take place in tandem with the expulsion of most of the Jewish population, i.e. all Jews who arrived after 1917 (Article 15).
