Uncover the Truth

Origin and Aims

On 5 July 1950, the Law of Return was adopted in the Knesset with the purpose of facilitating the repatriation of the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland. This was the principal purpose of setting up a Jewish State as prescribed by UN Resolution 181 of 1947. Over two million Jews, many of them refugees from religious persecution, have since been resettled in Israel.
