Jews established a Jewish homeland in parts of Palestine that they fairly purchased from absentee landlords and real estate speculators and far from displacing the indigenous Arab population they were immigrating to a land that was in fact vastly under-populated. While a limited number of Arab families were indeed, displaced by Jewish land purchases between 1880 and 1930, this land was legally acquired from absentee landlords.
